R&A: 'Golf needs the world No. 1...playing'

A spokesman for the Royal & Ancient, Malcolm Booth, had this to say regarding news that Tiger Woods will return to competition at the Masters, according to the Associated Press:

"We're pleased to hear that Tiger is to return to golf. Golf needs the world No. 1 to be playing."
