Play resumes at a foggy Oakmont

OAKMONT, Pa. -- The completion of the third round began at 8:00am, despite a blanket of fog that hovered over Oakmont earlier this morning. Paula Creamer, who holds a three shot lead over Wendy Ward, is vying for the chance of being in the final pairing later this afternoon.

The fourth round will begin at 11am, and several players (Wendy Ward, Suzann Pettersen, Amy Yang and Alexis Thompson) have a chance of playing in that coveted final group, which will likely tee off at around 1pm.
