PGA Tour pro puts hilarious message on the back of his caddie's bib
We at The Loop are all about the PGA Tour letting its players showcase their personalities. And after a week of walk-up music possibly leading to Team Mullet's win in New Orleans, the Valspar Championship has encouraged players to get creative with the back of their caddie's bib. Fun!
Of course, there are some sticks in the mud. Last week it was the team of Sung Kang and K.J. Choi requesting "NO SONG" on the first tee (they missed the cut anyway so no song was needed) and this week, guys like Dustin Johnson went with the standard:
Boring.
But while others like Justin Thomas went with their Twitter handle (Hey, it's Player Impact Program szn!), Mark Hubbard did something much more funny. Check it out:
Kick me! That never gets old.
And Hubbard had a great follow-up tweet after the first round in Tampa:
Yes there is, Mark. Although, if you shoot another 74 on Friday, that's probably it for this week.
And if you're wondering if his caddie, Kyle Peters, is cool with it, just know this is a guy who is cool with having the nickname "Peppers" because someone called him that once during "a drunk college nighta drunk college night." So, yeah, we're guessing he's cool with it. But seriously, Peppers, watch your back on Friday.
