PGA Championship: Who to follow on Twitter

August 07, 2013

On the eve of PGA Championship Thursday, you might be asking yourself, "who can I stalk on Twitter to keep up with the latest?" We've compiled a list of must-follows that will both entertain you and keep you in the know.

Golf Digest scribes at Oak Hill:

Dan Jenkins (@DanJenkinsGD): This Hall of Fame writer has been going to majors since the 1941 U.S. Open at Colonial Country Club. He couples his encyclopedic knowledge of golf with TONS of humor.

Mike Johnson (@EMichaelGW): Nobody covers the equipment beat better than Mike, who is Golf World's equipment editor. He consistently rolls out valuable information, and will also reply to your questions.

Dave Kindred (@DaveKindred): A contributing writer for Golf Digest, Dave writes the most beautiful prose at the end of each day He also tweets his honest observations throughout the day.

Ashley Mayo (@AshleyKMayo): That's me! This week, I'm focusing on what players do during their practice rounds, how they warm up before their rounds and how they unwind after their rounds. Also, I'll be eavesdropping on spectator chatter.

Mike O'Malley (@GD_MikeO): Golf Digest's executive editor calls on his remarkable knowledge of Golf Digest's vast archive, often tying in current events with how the magazine has covered an issue in years past.

Tim Rosaforte (@TimRosaforte): Many tour players know Tim (senior writer for Golf World) on a first-name basis, so he has access to information that very few others have.

Geoff Shackelford (@GeoffShac): Contributing writer to Golf Digest and Golf World, Geoff is on top of all the news. His Twitter feed is a mix of links to latest news and witty observations.

Dave Shedloski (@DaveShedloski): A writer for Golf World, Dave frequently tweets unique stats and other insider information you won't find anywhere else.

Ron Sirak (@RonSirak): The executive editor of Golf World consistently tweets honest observations and interacts with his followers.
