PGA Championship 2021: This clip of a synchronized Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka is absolutely mesmerizing
There was some great golf played on Day 1 of the 2021 PGA Championship as a surprising 30 players broke par at the difficult Kiawah Ocean Course. But while the highlight of the day involved two of the game's biggest names, it had nothing to do with any type of shot.
A pair of four-time major champs, Brooks Koepka and Rory McIlroy, are playing together the first two rounds. But in addition to winning big tournaments—and being outfitted by Nike—they also apparently share some strikingly similar mannerisms around the golf course.
Special thanks to golf fan Delano Yoder, who posted this clip as an Instagram story on Thursday. Although, maybe I shouldn't be thanking him because I might not be able to get any other work done for the rest of the day.
Absolutely mesmerizing. Right down to the little putter twirls! It really looks like a video game that has a bug.
Just wild stuff. Although, if we had to guess, both players watched a lot of Tiger Woods while growing up. OK, enough talking. Time to watch this another 1,000 times.
