LIV pro disqualified from DP World Tour Q-School after no-showing tee time
For many LIV Golf pros like Peter Uihlein, this has been a summer of uncertainty. While the world waits for clarity on the future of the upstart league which had its PIF funding cut earlier this season, many of its pros have been forced to make contingency plans. That includes Peter Uihlein, who was at Huddersfield Country Club this week to compete in the opening stage of DP World Tour Q-School.
Unfortunately for Uihlein, it did not go well. The American opened his week 74-73, good for seven-over-par through 36 holes. In 66th place and needing to climb into the top 19 to advance to the second stage of Q-School, things went from bad to worse for the in-limbo RangeGoat, who was then disqualified from the tournament for no-showing his third-round tee time.

From reports of countless unpaid vendors and employees to its general slapdash setup, LIV Golf has lacked a degree of professionalism from the very start, and unfortunately that seems to have trickled down to its pros. Withdrawing from an event when it’s just not your week is one thing. Ghosting your tee time without warning is another entirely.
In the LIV's defense, Spanish duo Luis Masaveu and Jose Luis Ballester are also in the field this week and remain present and accounted for. So, it’s not entirely the league’s fault, but like all things LIV, we’ll have to wait and see if Uihlein offers an explanation for his Friday no-show … and like all things LIV, we won't be surprised if we never get one.
