Now for some important news...

The teams for the Tavistock Cup have been finalized. Finally.

Advantage, Lake Nona. It has five players from the top 25 in the World Ranking (Ian Pouler, Ernie Else, Henrik Stenson, Retief Goosen and Ross Fisher. Isleworth has one (Robert Allenby).

The Tavistock Cup, incidentally, has a higher ratio of better players than the PGA Tour's Transitions Cup in Palm Harbor, Fla., this week. Together, the two teams have six players from the top 25, only four fewer than the entire Transitions Championship field.

For those who don't know, the Tavistock Cup, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, is a team competition between members of two exclusive country clubs in the Orlando, Fla., area, all of them professional golfers of some note. They play for vast sums of money, $3.5 million in 2009, that they don't need.

The public is not invited.
