International team captain Greg Norman's decision to use one of his two captain's picks on Australian Adam Scott in the Presidents Cup is mystifying, to say the least.
Scott was ranked No. 3 in the world at one time, but that is a distant and fading memory. Scott has not finished better than a tie for 36th since January and has missed the cut in 10 of his last 14 PGA Tour starts.
It seems wildly optimistic that Scott would somehow find his form in the next three to four weeks.
