NC State's Bradley Chubb spits on Florida State logo after upset victory

September 23, 2017

It's been a relatively quiet Saturday in college football so far, which is understandable considering what happened last weekend.

But if you did happen to tune into the Florida State-NC State game, you were in for a treat. The Wolfpack, an 11-point underdog, stormed into Doak Campbell stadium and won 27-21 in a game that wasn't even as close as the score indicated. NC State never trailed, and front flipped their way to the school's biggest victory since the last time they beat FSU in 2012.

In addition to a huge performance by wide receiver/acrobat Jakobi Meyers, the Wolfpack got a strong showing from defensive end Bradley Chubb, projected by many as a future first-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft. After his seven tackle, two sack game, Chubb went to midfield to celebrate in his own, unique way:

If you couldn't tell, that's Chubb spitting on the 'Noles logo, an incredibly disrespectful move that will be dissected like the Zapruder film by hardcore FSU fans. However you feel about it, it's good to see some real hatred between teams every once in awhile. Although, it will be immediately ruined by some forced, unnecessary apology by Chubb within 24 hours.
