Navy SEAL who killed Bin Laden says golf is "more stressful than combat"

November 15, 2014

Rob O'Neill is the Navy SEAL who shot Osama Bin Laden during the raid on his compound in 2011. As a way of getting over his post-traumatic stress from the whole episode, a military psychiatrist told him to take up golf. It didn't go so well.

O'Neill doesn't have an official handicap so it seems his foray into golf was short-lived, or perhaps he's just taking it slow. In any case, the next time you get irritated after another bad wedge shot, take a deep breath and brush it off. If golf is hard for one of the toughest men on the planet, don't expect it to be any easier for you.
