Monterey Peninsula CC re-ups with AT&T

April 20, 2010

The Shore Course at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club was deemed by all a welcome addition to the rotation of courses at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in February. The only question was weather the club was amenable to extending the relationship.

The answer apparently is a resounding "yes." The tournament announced on Tuesday that MPCC has agreed to remain in the rotation for another four years, the Monterey Herald is reporting.

"The 2010 AT&T was a tremendous success on so many levels," MPCC General Manager Michael Bowhay told the Herald. "Our members enthusiastically embraced the tournament's return to our facility. The Shore Course received rave reviews from pros, amateurs and spectators alike."

MPCC replaced Poppy Hills in the rotation that also includes Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill.
