These glorious Masters-themed Mizzou golf hats might be the best ballpark giveaway ever
Remember Masters fever? Well, that’s a year-round bug these days. Everybody, everywhere is coming down with it and it’s fair to say that, tradition aside, there’s now enough demand to sustain a second annual Masters. Perhaps in the fall when the leaves are changing and there’s not much else on the golf calendar to get excited about. Who says no?
But don’t take our word for it. Just ask Mizzou baseball. On Wednesday, almost a full two weeks after the 2026 Masters came and went, the Tigers unveiled this incredible Masters-themed hat as a free giveaway to the first 300 fans in attendance at Thursday night’s border war against no. 24 Arkansas. Behold true beauty, ye humble pilgrims.
Glorious. We’ve seen a lot of awesome ballpark giveaways over the years—from ‘Star Wars’ bobbleheads to ‘Seinfeld’ merch—but this stands head (ahem) and shoulders above them all. Needless to say, if you’re one of the lucky 300 to score one on Thursday, you’re gonna have the entire campus wrapped around your pinky finger. Just don’t wear it to the frat party. 100% certain someone will feed you shots and then swipe it.
The other thing that is 100% certain is Mizzou getting a cease and desist from infamously litigious Augusta National any second now. We’re sure Mizzou can afford to take the risk—if you think the Masters is a cash cow, just wait until you hear about the state university system—but don’t expect these bad boys to hang around long.
