Min Woo Lee on Adam Scott's sick private jet, his partnership with Lululemon and the never-ending competition with his sister Minjee

It was the eve of the final round of last year's U.S. Open at LACC when Min Woo Lee received a text from fellow Aussie, and one of his idols, Adam Scott. The former Masters winner was wondering if Lee needed a ride on Scott's private jet to the Travelers Championship the following week. Lee's response? "I'm not in Travelers, sorry."

That's when Scott fired back with a little bit of motivation. "Just finish in the top 10 then and you can come; go get it done."

That's exactly what Lee did, shooting a final-round 67 to vault into a tie for fifth, his best finish in a major championship to date. Next thing he knew, he was napping on Scott's private plane, which features the flex of all flexes when it comes to interior design features:

When one of your idols tells you to go get it done and you can come on his plane, you're not going to not go get it done. Not only did he get a comfy ride out of it, but Lee believes that Sunday was a key moment in his career, helping him build the confidence needed to go on an absolute tear to finish 2023. After that T-5 in Los Angeles, Lee made 12 consecutive cuts across the PGA, DP World and Asian Tours, winning twice along the way and finishing in the top 15 seven other times.

Count us among those who believe Lee is just getting started. And if 2024 is going to be his best year ever, than apparel company lululemon couldn't have picked a better time to make Lee its newest ambassador.

On this week's episode of The Loop podcast, Lee chatted with us about his new threads, his never-ending competition with his sister Minjee, and his "Call of Duty" sessions with his current roomate, Kurt Kitayama.
