Michelle Wie burns Justin Thomas with old photo, Justin Thomas doesn't seem too pleased
An easy way to rib rookie Justin Thomas is to point out he's friends with Jordan Spieth. That fact has seemed to define Thomas more than anything he's done during a solid first campaign on the PGA Tour.
LPGA star Michelle Wie took that line of joking to a new level, though, on Tuesday by posting a photo of a young Spieth, in which he happens to be towering over his buddy.
"Baby JT" didn't seem as amused with this response:
Wie answered, "It was too awesome not to. I chuckle everytime i pass this pic on the putting green." Fair enough. Sorry, Justin, it is pretty funny.
Wie is at the Evian Championship in France, which has the photo up because Spieth and Thomas competed for the U.S. at the Evian Masters Junior Cup in 2007. Of course, responses from fellow tour pros followed:
