This format is typically the European team's bailiwick. And considering their one-point deficit after the morning's matches, they need to finish the day strong to stay in step with the Americans. Come Sunday's singles, the 30,000 daily spectators crowding this golf course will give each American a good 2-up lead before a single shot is hit.
