Well Played, Sir

Louisville golfer rolls up 'Scottie Scheffler style' to member-guest while 'Cops' theme blasts from speakers

Following his latest win at the Memorial Tournament, and his first as a dad, it felt like it was finally time to put the Scottie Scheffler arrest saga to bed. But it's the story that refuses to stop giving.

This past weekend, more video evidence hit the internet, all of it continuing to show how cordial and mannerly the World No. 1 was with the Louisville PD. One cop could even be heard saying "wait, you are the World No. 1?" as Scheffler sat next to him in handcuffs. Surreal stuff.

There was no more video evidence revealed on Monday, but there was video of a Louisville golfer rolling up to his member-guest at Wildwood Country Club "Scottie Scheffler style," and it's everything you think it would be and more:

Well played, sir. Well played. The attention to detail is aspirational, this man's setup complete with the "Cops" theme blasting from his speakers as well as the dummy cop wearing one of those highlighter vests that all of the Louisville cops had on for that fateful morning outside of the Valhalla gates. Truly left no stone unturned. We'll say it - Valhalla deserves another PGA Championship based on this alone.
