Looks like Danny Willett is flying home in style after his Masters win
The perks of a major-championship win continue to impress us. Sure, newly-minted Masters champion Danny Willett received almost $2 million ($1.8 million to be precise) in prize earnings for his triumph at Augusta National.
Perhaps more interesting to track, though, are the off-course benefits that professional golfers get to enjoy. Willett will begin to reap the rewards of his 2016 Masters win, thanks, in part to Jordan Spieth's collapse at the 12th hole, but mostly due to his bogey-free final-round 67 on Sunday.
Willett flew home to England, to his baby Zacharias, and wife, Nicole, in style. It looks like private-aviation company NetJets hooked up the 2016 Masters champion.
After what we're sure was a long night of celebrating, here's Willett working the phones this morning. As his agent Chubby Chandler said -- that phone bill might start to add up!
But we're sure that's the last thing Willett is thinking about. That $1.8 million should cover most of that.
Here's a look at Willett's tweet last night. This is one of the best sights you could ask for as a professional golfer. Everyone wants a green jacket in their closet!
