This Indiana golf brand is giving away a custom Indiana football putter in celebration of the team's first national championship
The Indiana Hoosiers football won the College Football National Championship. One more time because it’s literally never happened before: IU won the College Football National Championship. Now that we’re a few days removed from that historic, world-changing event, it’s time to find a way to make it about golf.
As an Indiana grad and former social media intern for the IU Athletics Department, I needed to find something (anything!) golf-ish to be able to write about IUFB for Golf Digest. And, thankfully, Roark Custom Golf Works showed up with a gorgeous once-in-a-generation putter featuring the program’s mantra of “never daunted,” the still unbelievable 16-0 record and a Mount Rushmore for the ages. If anyone deserves to be carved into the granite memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota, it’s Curt Cignetti.
Roark Golf is giving away this putter next Monday, so it’s time to enter if you root for IU (and against Purdue). Hopefully, there are more where that came from, but if not, someone out there is going to get a hell of a piece of Hoosier lore.

The club doesn’t just feature a makeshift Mount Rushmore but also a face insert with Fernando Mendoza’s earth-shaking touchdown run. You know what? Let’s see it again, why don’t we?
Regardless of your college allegiances, I think we can all agree that it’s a stunning putter for a stunning season. Plus, it’s impossible to have more confidence on the green than with a Cignetti putter. You’ll be telling your fellow golfers to “Google me” on the course. If IU football can win a national championship, you can make that putt.
