Grab your most outlandish blazer, over-the-top cap and strongest bourbon, after being postponed in May due to COVID-19, the rescheduled Kentucky Derby is finally here. While you may not be headed to Louisville or a big derby party this weekend, there’s still time to prep for race-day celebrations in your own way. Whether it’s by wearing a Kentucky Derby golf shirt to the course, parading around the patio in a printed sport coat or sipping from a shiny julep cup, here are a few items to help you celebrate the Derby wherever you are.

Golf apparel brand B.Draddy has a licensed Kentucky Derby collection of golf shirts that are classic and to the point. The prominently placed Derby logo of the racetrack features the number 146 to celebrate the race’s years running and a bugle to honor the instrument that signals the start of the race. The shirt comes in a striped design on the Parker Polo ($108), a variety of soft pastels on the #2058 Polo ($108) and cool solids on the Liam Polo ($108). Each is made with the brand’s ultra-soft Peruvian Pima Cotton fabric that’s got the perfect amount of stretch for golf with an upscale look and feel.

You can always count on Vineyard Vines for churning out head-turning pieces for the Kentucky Derby each year. Remember the red sport coat Rickie Fowler wore to the Derby a few years back? That was Vineyard Vines. The 2020 printed blazer is a cool blue colorway that’s currently 30-percent off if you use the code SPF30.

The Vineyards Vines Derby Collection also includes a pair of pants ($235) to match the printed blazer, upscale tops, t-shirts and layering pieces—so you can support the races at almost any venue. On the accessories side, the collection includes everything from seersucker baseball caps to boater hats, printed belts, pocket squares and ties to finish off the perfect derby look.

If you’re staying home this year, you can still drink like you are at Churchill Downs with official Derby gear from Fanatics. Homemade mint juleps will just taste better from a genuine Kentucky Derby glass ($4) and the tartan can coolers ($4) are a must-have. If you want to feel like you’re actually in the stands, you can even pick up a Kentucky Derby Bleacher Cushion ($20) and Foam Horse Hat ($11) for the full experience.

Celebrate derby day on the golf course with race themed golf apparel and accessories that will stay in style all year long. The Under Armour Playoff Polo ($55) comes in aqua or coral with the Kentucky Derby logo on the chest of the comfortable performance golf shirt. For a bolder statement, the ‘47 Jockey Silk Hat ($30) celebrates the unique uniforms riders wear on the track. Fanatics even has a Kentucky Derby themed face mask ($11) with a rose inside a horse-shoe pattern for a super stylish way to stay safe on the course.

Shinesty has a selection Derby-ready printed suits if you’re hoping to make the loudest statement in the clubhouse this year. Choose from a yellow horseshoe look, a green-and-blue striped suit with a running-horse pattern or two rose-covered outfits that just scream “I love the Kentucky Derby.” Blazers start at $100 and pants go for around $50. For a slightly quieter statement, the prints are also available as short-sleeved button up shirts ($60).
