    Save for later

Danielle Kang has been making the most of her KPMG Women’s PGA Championship celebration, partying with friends in Las Vegas and housing noodles from the trophy. But the 24-year-old's victory lap wouldn't be complete without a drink with her father.

Speaking on the Golf Digest Podcast this week, Kang revealed her intentions to visit her dad's grave. Kang's father, who was on the bag for her back-to-back U.S. Women's Amateur wins, passed in 2013 after a battle with cancer. Kang made good on her promise Thursday.

Kang decorated the site with items from her triumph at Olympia Fields, including the 18th hole flag and her caddie's bib, along with flowers. She commemorated the moment with a touching note, simply saying, "We did it."
