Sharing Is Caring

Jordan Spieth giving half of his sandwich to a fan should be worth a few birdies from the golf gods

Growing up with two younger siblings, Jordan Spieth likely had to learn a few lessons about sharing. We know this based off this awesome move he pulled late in his third round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, where Spieth is firmly in contention.

After piping a drive 309 yards down the middle of the 16th fairway on Saturday, Spieth decided it was time to fuel up. With the heat in Memphis this week, players can't do enough to stay hydrated and energized, hence why the 13-time PGA Tour winner pulled out a peanut butter and banana sandwich with only a few holes remaining.

That's when, according to The Action Network's Jason Sobel, a fan yelled out "having a little snack?" to Spieth. Spieth responded in the most Spieth way imaginable:

The ultimate fan favorite doing fan favorite things. This should be some good karma for Spieth on Sunday, though that's likely the last thing that was on his mind when he handed over half of his sando. Just a genuine act of kindness that we've become accustomed to from this guy. Also, he may have only been hungry for half. Two things can be true at once.
