Jordan Spieth ends 2015 with the perfect tweet

January 01, 2016

As the clock ticked midnight on Thursday night/Friday morning, people around the country celebrated the new year. Jordan Spieth, however, admitted he was sad to see 2015 go.

And who could blame him? Spieth won five PGA Tour titles, including two majors, contended for the Grand Slam, ascended to No. 1 in the world, and won the PGA Tour Player of the Year Award. By all accounts, 2015 was the Year of Spieth in golf.

But considering Spieth is only 22, there's a pretty good chance this is just the beginning for him. About a half hour later, his next tweet reflected a bit more optimism:

That's the spirit, Jordan. And if the 2016 golf season is anything like the 2015 golf season, we're all in for a treat.
