This video of Jon Gruden going batsh-t crazy in the Raiders locker room is everything

September 22, 2020

We know it's still very, very early in the 2020 NFL season, but it's got to be an extremely tough Tuesday morning for the Jon Gruden haters. Gruden's Las Vegas Raiders are 2-0, having just disposed of the New Orleans Saints, a Super Bowl contender, 34-24 on national television.

That marks the second straight week Gruden's offense has scored 34 points, both games featuring a steady diet of run and pass. Derek Carr, who has received his fair share of criticism the last two seasons, has completed 50 of his 68 pass attempts, thrown for 521 yards and four touchdowns, and has not turned the ball over once. Running back Josh Jacobs, who Gruden selected with one of the picks in the Khalil Mack trade, has run for 181 yards (fifth in the NFL) and found the end zone three times (T-3rd in the NFL). This year's first-round pick, Henry Ruggs III, has shown plenty of promise as well.

Of course, the hard work is just beginning. This week the Raiders go to Foxboro to play the Cam Newton-led New England Patriots. The week after it's the Buffalo Bills at home. The week after that? The mighty Kansas City Chiefs, who LV is going to have to at least split with to prove its a true contender in 2020.

But for now, all is well in Raider-land, and both the fanbase and the team is enjoying the hell out of it (as they should). In addition to clicking on the field, Gruden and the boys were firing on all cylinders in the locker room on Monday evening. File this one in the "run-through-a-brick-wall" cabinet:

If this video doesn't bring a smile to your face, you are likely dead on the inside. Or you are one of them Gruden haters who has a whole bunch of tweets to start deleting. Either way, it's time to hop on the Raider train or get the hell off the tracks. VEGAS BABY!
