If you just saw this compilation of Jordan Spieth talking to his ball, you'd think he didn't break 80

Jordan Spieth is a lot of things. He’s a 22-year-old bazillionaire, he’s a heck of a golfer, an all-around good guy, and he’s the kind of player that talks to his ball. A lot.

Below is a montage of Spieth, spewing out commands and outright pleas to his ball on the way to winning the Tour Championship.

This is a riot. Obviously Spieth hit plenty of good shots at the Tour Championship -- the man was nine under! -- but his reaction to those shots probably wasn’t as entertaining.

Short, long, fat, willing it over that pond, talking it through that tree. My personal favorite: “Holy right!”

This is world-class commentating, and a great lesson in how hitting every shot perfectly isn't remotely necessary to being the best player in the world.

That putt at the end, though? That is necessary.
