Derek Jeter's charity golf event in Las Vegas included Michael Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., and Russell Wilson -- and it looked like a lot of fun

We love it when stars from other sports tee it up. This week was especially notable for world-class athletes and golf -- with Tom Brady and Rory McIlroy playing together at Augusta National getting a bunch of buzz.

But there was a plethora of greatness at Derek Jeter's Celebrity Invitational in Las Vegas last week. Super Bowl champs. NBA legends. Baseball stars. How cool?

First, you have Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson posting photos with perhaps the greatest athlete of the modern era, and a HUGE golf fan, Michael Jordan:

You have legendary shooter and two-time NBA champion Ray Allen, who impressively played in Erik Compton's event in Miami AND made it Vegas for Jeter's event this weekend. How's that for golf dedication? And how about those pink shorts?!

You'd expect Michael Jordan to smoke stogies on the course. His love for cigars is pretty well documented. But holding a stogie in his mouth, while he's hitting a tee shot? That's impressive stuff from MJ.

Here's Jeter eyeing up a tee shot. Now that he's retired from baseball, he's gotta be playing a bunch of golf. And now that we know his girl and SI swimsuit cover girl Hannah Davis plays golf, there's really no excuse for Jeets not to be working on his game, right?

And it looks like another baseball legend -- Ken Griffey, Jr. -- did pretty well. It appears he edged out NHL star Chris Chelios atop the leader board at Jeter's event this weekend. Legit!

We'll wait for our invite for next year's invite . . . c'mon, Jeets!
