The LIV Golf League reached the sixth event on its 14-event schedule, and after two weeks off, this one had historically been the rowdiest on the rotation. Yes, the tour is Down Under, in golf-crazed Australia, returning to the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide.

It did not disappoint, as you can read here from Evin Priest. It was another wild week, this time Brendan Steele taking home his first LIV Golf title, topping Louis Oosthuizen by a shot at the Grange Golf Clib. The overall purse was its usual $20 million and Steele took home $4 million for his victory. Cameron Smith's Ripper team defeated Oosthuizen's Stinger squad in the first team playoff in LIV Golf history. The Rippers split $3 million.

Talor Gooch took home the top prize a year ago, winning by three strokes, but perhaps the most memorable event to happen during the week was Chase Koepka’s hole in one on the par-3 12th stadium-like setup where the gallery enjoys cold beverages all day. The hole is called the Watering Hole for a reason and when Koepka’s ball found the bottom of the cup, chaos ensued, which you can relive here.

As for the season itself, Joaquin Niemann leads the overall standings by a comfortable margin over Jon Rahm, who is still looking for his first LIV Golf victory. Meanwhile, Niemann won the first and third events of the year and only has one finish outside the top 10. All six of Rahm’s starts have ended inside the top eight. Dean Burmester, winner of the Doral event three weeks ago, sits in third place.

Here is the rundown of how much each player earned this week in Australia.
