Here’s the prize money payout for each player at the 2024 Cognizant Founders Cup

Nelly Korda didn't win her sixth consecutive LPGA start, but history was still made.

Instead, 20-year-old Rose Zhang won her second LPGA event Sunday at the Cognizant Founders Cup, winning this one 51 weeks after she captured her first last year in her first start as a professional. Zhang birdied four of the last five holes to shoot 66 and end with a 24-under-par 264 total. She beat Madelene Sagstrom by two shots. Zhang earned $450,000 for her victory from a $3 million purse.

Korda was in contention after opening with 69-66, but a third-round 73 moved her well off the pace. She shot a final-round 73 and ended in a tie for seventh place in her bid to win for the sixth straight time.

The Founders Cup was a two-player race well into the weekend. Zhang ended at 24 under par, Sagstrom was 22 under and in third place was Aussie Gabriela Ruffels at nine under par. There was a three-way tie for fourth place at eight under.
