Payday in Bermuda
Here's the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Alex Slitz
The prize money payout at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship was modest for a PGA Tour event these days: $1.242 million to winner Rafael Campos from an overall purse of $6.9 million. The 36-year-old from Puerto Rico shot a final-round 68 to ended at 19-under-par total and beat Andrew Novak by two shots.
With its penultimate spot on the tour schedule, the tournament came with its own sense of urgency. The push for tour pros to finish inside the top 125 of the FedEx Cup points standings had all but one player between 118th to 135th who hasn’t already locked up a tour card for 2025 in the field at Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.
Similarly, with this second-to-last chance to make your way between Nos. 51-60 on the FedEx Cup points list and earn spots into two early 2025 signature events, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Genesis Invitational, seven players currently among that group—Mackenzie Hughes, Maverick McNealy, Seamus Power, Patrick Rodgers, Nick Taylor, Ben Griffin and Kevin Yu—were competing to hold down their spots. Yu, however, slipped to No. 61 and Nico Echavarria moved up two spots into 59th place.
The event is one of just three out of the eight fall events that has seen an increase in the prize money payout, bumped up by $400,000. The final event of the season is next week—the RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga.
