    Save for later

For the second time in three starts, Bryson DeChambeau is a winner of a LIV Golf event. And while he didn’t shoot a final-round 58 to do it this time (as was the case at the LIV Golf Greenbrier event in August), a final-round 63 at Rich Harvest Farms outside Chicago was still rather impressive in taking the LIV Golf Chicago title.

DeChambeau started the final round eight shots off the lead, but made nine birdies, including seven on his final 12 holes, to rally past Marc Leishman and Anirban Lahiri, posting a 13-under 200 total for the 54-hole event.

“I’m would say the most consistently good golf of my life,” said DeChambeau when asked about his level of play after the victory. “I don’t know if it’s the top notch. When I shot 58 that’s probably the best I’ve ever played. And winning the U.S. Open obviously is the ultimate thing, I played the best golf there too. But I can definitely tell you right now this little stretch has been pretty sweet for me.”

With victory, DeChambeau grabbed the standard first-place prize money payout LIV’s no-cut, 54-hole events: $4 million from an overall individual purse of $20 million. His Crushers GC squad also won the team competition and the $3 million payday for that.

Here’s the prize money payout for the field. Come back after the tournament and we’ll update the post with names and individual paydays.
