Payday in Las Vegas
Here's the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2021 Shriners Children's Open
Steve Dykes
Go low or go home. It’s the mantra of many final rounds on the PGA Tour, including the one that played out Sunday at the Shriners Children’s Open. That said, a nine-under 62 from Sungjae Im at TPC Summerlin was even lower than necessarily for the 23-year-old South Korean to win his second PGA Tour title.
After starting the day three strokes off the lead, Im cruised to a four-shot victory spurred on by nine birdies on his first 13 holes. He would miss just one green on Sunday and finish with a 24-under 260.
With the win in his 100th career PGA Tour start (his first win at the 2020 Honda Classic came in his 50th start), Im claimed the first-place prize money payout of $1.26 million from an overall purse of $7 million.
Here’s the breakdown of prize money payouts for every player who makes the cut this week. Come back shortly after the tournament is over and we’ll update with individual names and prize money payouts.
