Golfer wins club championship thanks to hole-in-one, members celebrate cart girl's perfect timing
We're wrapping up club championship season and on Wednesday we brought you one of the wildest shots ever hit in one, but it's always hole-in-one season somewhere. And earlier this week, those two times intersected in spectacular fashion.
According to TikTok user beachblueralph, Brent Long made a walk-off hole-in-one to win the club championship at Stones River in Murfreesboro, TN. And the clutch shot was captured on video. Thank heavens for camera phones, huh?
But even better than the ace was the reaction from members watching around the green. That includes one guy screaming, "AND THE CART GIRL IS HERE! LESS GO!" Talk about perfect timing:

We're guessing a good time was had by all—even the guy who lost in heartbreaking fashion. And we're also guessing that Brent racked up a nice little bar tab that day.
By the way, if that name rings a bell, you are truly a golf sicko. Long competed in Golf Channel's "Big Break Mexico" and he's played in 14 Korn Ferry Tour events, including a T-3 at the 2011 South Georgia Classic. Impressive!
That was a long time ago, though, and according to the internet, Brent now works as a real estate agent. But as evidenced by this shot, the dude can still play. And now he's got another great tale to tell potential clients.
UPDATE: We've learned it wasn't a walk-off hole-in-one, but it was an ace late in the final round that immediately erased a three-shot deficit and propelled Long to victory. And it was still great timing by the cart girl, although we're guessing Brent and those in contention held off on boozing for a few more holes.
