    The Winner's Bag

    April 11, 2010

Even though it was the Masters, Phil Mickelson still made some equipment adjustments -- albeit one unintentional. The Masters champ changed models of wedges last week, using Callaway's Jaws wedges (with condition of competition grooves) instead of the X-Forged model he had been playing. That was planned. Not planned was an elaborate fix to his Callaway FT Tour TA driver, which he cracked at the Shell Houston Open. Mickelson got the repaired club back on Tuesday of Masters week.
