The Winners' Bags
Change was good for Hunter Mahan at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Earlier in the week Mahan had 3 degrees of bounce added to his Ping Eye 2 lob wedge and 1 degree of loft tacked on to his Ping iWi D66 putter (making it 4 degrees), then after cracking his Ping Rapture V2 driver on the second hole of the final round, his girlfriend retrieved his backup from his car. Despite (or perhaps because of) the changes, Mahan grabbed his second career PGA Tour win. Ai Miyazato had less equipment drama in winning her second straight LPGA event at the HSBC Champions in Singapore. Miyazato used 13 TourStage clubs plus an Odyssey White Hot XG Teron putter -- the same bag as during last week's win.
