Our 10 favorite golf products that support the fight against breast cancer
As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of organizations in the golf world and beyond are doubling down on their support for the education, detection, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. In the golf space, favorite brands have teamed up with organizations to donate a percent of sales and help spread awareness. Coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aka, “Pinktober,” the resort style-cool golf and swim brand Kenny Flowers will be donating 10 percent of proceeds from their line of pink swimsuits, golf polos, dresses, and more to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness and support, so more women have access to quality care, advanced screenings, and cutting edge research.

Through the month of October, the hydration drink brand—which was inspired by one doctor’s wife’s own experience battling breast cancer—will donate 10 percent of sales to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Atlanta, which provides a community and safe haven for cancer patients and their caregivers to stay for free. Known for their whimsical, floral prints and totes, Vera Bradley has been raising funds to support breast cancer research since the 1990s, totaling $40 million so far. For the month of October, funds from select prints go toward their Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research at Indiana University, which has been studying and innovating treatment and therapy options for patients, as well as other research. This pouch, which is an optimal size for storing coins, jewelry or chargers and sliding into a gym or golf bag, will see 100 percent of proceeds go toward the foundation. But there are plenty of other options for golfers that still give back, like this zip pouch which raises funds for New Hope Girls, a non-profit to find jobs and safe havens for women and girls in the Dominican Republic.

For the sixth year in the row, Lilly Pulitzer has partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation which helps fund the tools and resources doctors and scientists need to find a cure and ensure more people can live longer, healthier lives.
