It was a memorable day for one of our own Saturday at the inaugural U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship in Bandon, Ore. Marie Bos, a senior marketing research manager for Golf Digest, made a hole-in-one on the 154-yard 10th hole at Pacific Dunes.
Here is the video:
Bos and partner Courtney Tincher, both from New York City, shot a four-over par 76 and are tied for 36th. The low 32 teams following the second round of medal play will advance to match play.
Bos said via Twitter that the golf ball is headed to the USGA museum in Far Hills, N.J.
