For Wie, everything's working but the putts aren't falling

RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIF.-  "It's just really frustrating," Michelle Wie said after finishing her third-straight round of 71. "It's good that I've only made three bogeys the last three days, but I haven't made many birdies either. But I really think that if I do all the good things I did today and  start to make putts, a low sore will come out of me, for sure."

*The maddening part for the 20-year-old Wie, who's playing in her seventh Kraft Nabisco Championship, is that she feels like she's rolling the ball really well -- the putts just aren't falling. "It's not like I'm hitting bad putts, you know? It's pretty tricky when the greens are this fast, but all day today my speeds were perfect. They're just grazing the hole every single time; it was just, like, come on. But I feel like it's coming."

So what is Wie going to do tomorrow to get more putts to fall? "Put on my lucky socks and cross my fingers."
