Foley sees improvements in Tiger's swing

July 15, 2010

ST. ANDREWS, Scotland -- One of the hottest young teachers in golf has been working the range this week. Sean Foley, whose pupils include Sean O'Hair, Justin Rose, Hunter Mahan and Stephen Ames, has also had swing conversations with Tiger Woods.

No, Woods hasn't found a new coach. He last talked to Foley -- by chance -- on the driving range at the Memorial Tournament -- while he was working with O'Hair. Woods has no plans to hire a swing coach in 2010 and Foley has plenty of clients to keep him busy.

He does think Woods' swing has improved during the past month. Foley said Thursday his swing is more upright and think he's on the right track.
