The Trojans defeated previously top-ranked UCLA at the Pac-10 Championship  to reclaim the top ranking. They've won three times, finished no worse than third in any of their nine starts and are the No. 1 seed in this week's West Regional.

The biggest move of any school in the poll was North Carolina, which jumped from T-23 to 16th after the Tar Heels won their first ACC Championship since 1992.

Having claimed the No. 1 ranking at the start of the 2010-11 season, Nova Southeastern remained the top squad in the final D-II poll of the spring. Methodist, looking to win an amazing 14th straight NCAA title, not surprisingly enters the postseason as the top-ranked school in the D-III poll. However, DePauw is trying its best to de-throne the Monarchs, having claimed an equal number of first-place votes (7 apiece) and trailing Methodist by one point overall.
