Earth, Wind & Fire tech guy caught playing golf video game DURING concert
It’s Tour Championship week, with the sport’s best at East Lake Golf Club for (at least) 72 holes to end quite the season. Scottie Scheffler is looking to overcome a recent bout of hand, foot and mouth disease, and Rory McIlroy is trying to close out a topsy-turvy year on a high as the FedEx Cup finally gets decided. Still, there's a different round of golf that is getting quite a bit of attention—at least on social media—and it's coming from Seattle, where it appeared that a tech guy for Earth, Wind & Fire wouldn't let a little concert get in the way of his virtual tee time.

If we’re looking for late entries for Player of the Year, this fella getting in a few shots by any means necessary might be right up there with Scheffler and Wyndham Clark. This may be a first for us here at Golf Digest: “pov: the band is so smooth, you just get to grind pga tour.”

It looks like he was inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire when they sang, “You're a shining star / No matter who you are / Shining bright to see / What you could truly be.”
