DP World Tour pro makes hole-in-one, receives an insane amount of beer
One of the most-established—and questioned—traditions in golf is that the person who makes a hole-in-one has to buy drinks after. At this week's DP World Tour event, however, that script has been flipped.
First off, congrats to Ugo Coussaud for making an ace on the eighth hole at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande during Thursday's first round of the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters. Unfortunately for Ugo, there doesn't seem to be video of this special shot, but he got something else following his round.
An insane imount of beer.
Have a look at this huge stack of beer cases that Ugo received from the tournament sponsor:
His weight in beer? Yeah, Ugo is going to be stocked up for a while. And, honestly, he deserves it. After all, it was Ugo who made the hole-in-one. People should be buying/giving him drinks!
According to another post, Ugo received 85 liters of beer, which after a couple Google searches, we concluded the Frenchman weighs about 190 pounds.
In any event, beers are on Ugo. Free beers, that is.
