Donald Trump turns "small hands" jab into a boast about his golf game

A highlight lowlight of Thursday's GOP debate came when Donald Trump addressed the size of his hands, and well, you know. . . Florida Senator Marco Rubio had made fun of Trump's hands to supporters last week, and Trump couldn't let it go:
"Look at those hands," Trump said while holding them up. "Are they small hands? And he referred to my hands -- if they are small, something else must be small. . . . I guarantee you there is no problem. I guarantee you."
On Friday, Trump was still defending his hands, but this time, he also did it by bragging about his golf game. "Those hands can hit a golf ball 285 yards," Trump said at a rally outside of Detroit, according to ABC News.
The Republican frontrunner for president then did an interview on NBC and reiterated his pop off the tee:
"See how beautiful my hands are, look at those hands. Those are powerful hands," Trump said. "Hit a golf ball 285 yards. Now I was very proud to hold my hands up because these are politicians, they say things and they make things up and you have to clear up the record."
Trump has been accused (and proved) of making plenty of false statements during his campaign, but this one, we believe. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound(ish) Trump is a very good golfer -- currently a 3.0 handicap index, but formerly as low as a plus-2.6 -- and is known for being long off the tee. It actually might surprise some people that he didn't say he hits it 385 yards.
