This ‘delightfully unhinged’ golf prank may have ruined a long-distance relationship

There’s nothing more dangerous than someone with Photoshop and time on their hands. Things can go from bad to worse in a millisecond, especially when someone’s as ingenious (and frankly cruel) as this woman who gaslit her boyfriend by Photoshopping his phone location to make it appear as if he was constantly in the bunker while on the golf course. This is just another example of why the queen is the most powerful piece on the chessboard.

Yes, what we have here is a woman at home photoshopping her boyfriend into oblivion. While tracking her boyfriend on the course, Mags decided to move his icon into the sand again … and again ... and again. It’s a simple gag that probably threw him off his game. In all-caps, Eric responded, “I HAVENT BEEN IN SAND ALL DAY WTF” after a video of him on the beach in the sand was sent as a final dagger.
The prank has rightfully gone viral with nearly 3 million views and over 250,000 likes, so be on the look out for for copycat pranksters.
The comments—fortunately or unfortunately depending on if you’re the golfer in the relationship—featured quite a few golf significant others putting this idea in their back pockets. “Women in STEM,” said one. “He got awfully defensive at the end, definitely went in the sand,” replied another. “As a fellow photoshop girlie, thank you for this idea 😌,” said a future prankster.
