Day 24: Develop A Go-To Short Game Shot

Think of your pre-round short game warm-up as the same sort of exercise a pilot goes through before a flight. You’re checking to see if everything is operational. Quickly clip a set of five tees in the ground, then hit five shots at various heights. If there’s one kind of shot that isn’t working well for you, reboot the drill and find one kind of shot that feels good and is working well. That one will be your go-to for the day. Hit a full cycle of five balls using only that kind of shot, then a few others to round out your short game.
