Day 22: Boost Speed And Control With One Drill
I like exercises that provide a progression, and this is one of the best. With your driver, hit four balls with four very distinct and different approaches. On the first, make a full swing at 50 percent speed and focus on balance and center contact. On the second ball, make a full swing at 75 percent speed with full target intent. On the third, go full speed with full target intent, and on the last ball, dial it back to 90 percent speed for balance and body control. The last ball is where you want to play out on the course—with controlled speed.
