It Just Means More

This jumbotron setup at a college golf tournament is one of the greatest things we've ever seen

It's been said that in the SEC, "it just means more." Fans of Big 10, Big 12 and ACC often take offense to the phrase. That's because it's sort of true.

Look no further the second annual Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational at Fallen Oak, a Tom Fazio-designed course at MGM's Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Ms. The tournament, which featured 13 teams, many from the SEC including Ole Miss and LSU, took place this past weekend, with Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss serving as the host schools. Also taking place this past weekend was a massive tilt in college football between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Tennessee Volunteers, better known as "The Third Saturday in October."

If you thought these golfers were going to miss out on that slobberknocker, you'd be wrong. Check out the jumbotron on the ninth and 18th greens at Fallen Oak, which had the Bama-Tennessee game on DURING the golf tournament:

What's even funnier about this move is that the Alabama and Tennessee men's golf teams were actually playing in a different tournament in Georgia last weekend. So it wasn't even like it was a request made by either of those teams. We guess it really does just mean more in the SEC.

Here's another photo of the incredible scene:

Awesome stuff.

Note: A previous version of this story had this video taking place at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational tournament. It took place at the Fallen Oak Invitational.
