Cigar Guy identified; he's an investment analyst

The Mail has tracked down the man known globally (courtesy of the Internet) as Cigar Guy, the man with the bushy mustache and a cigar who appeared in the Mail's now legendary photo of Tiger Woods at the Ryder Cup.

"We can reveal that Cigar Guy is golf fan Rupesh Shingadia, a 30-year-old investment analyst in the City - and a very reluctant star," the Mail wrote.

"I am embarrassed and overwhelmed," he told the Mail. "Never in a million years could I have expected anything like this. It is truly surreal."
