On April 30, the NCAA Women's Division I golf committee will announce the 27 conference champions and 45 at-large selections that will be competing next month at the NCAA Regionals. Today's podcast guest is Velvet Milkman, women's coach at Murray State and the chair of the golf committee, to talk about the selection process and what it will be like for the six-person committee as the members wade through Golfstat data and decide who is in and who is out of the NCAA postseason.

As part of our conversation, Milkman, in her last year as the committee chair, discusses the possibility of the ".500 rule" coming to the women's game as well as the potential for match play down the road.

Meanwhile, the selections will be announced via a webcast that will start at 9 p.m. Eastern time on April 30 at www.NCAA.com.
