I've just filed my story about a recent trip to Kiawah for the July issue of Golf Digest.

I also wasn't thrilled to hear him say:

"You've got 185 to the middle, 3-wood?"

"We might find it."

"I've been here 10 years and I've never seen anyone play this hole from over here."

"You hit some good shots."

Anyway, as you'll find out when the story comes out the first week in June, I've come to terms with the Ocean Course, and I've always loved the resort.

I also wanted to let you know about two interesting offers to stay and play at Kiawah.

From June 1 - Aug. 31, the Ryder Cup Package offers you and 15 friends three nights of lodging (villas or private homes), three rounds of golf (one on the Ocean Course), breakfast every morning, a hat, shirt and more for $999 per person.

This is the 20th anniversary of the 1991 Ryder Cup, which was played on the Ocean Course and is often referred to as the "War by the Shore."

Next year the Ocean Course will be the sight of the first major in South Carolina. From Aug. 1 - 7, on almost the exact setup as what the pros will see during the 2012 PGA Championship, the best low-net score of an amateur wins a two-night stay at the Sanctuary and two rounds of golf (one on the Ocean Course) for a foursome.

Have a great weekend.
