British Open 2021: How to watch the Open Championship at Royal St. George's on television and streaming online

David Cannon/R&A
Insomniacs and early risers rejoice. The Open Championship is the perfect major for you. And NBC Sports is offering no shortage of golf coverage from Royal St. George’s for the 149th Open.
With a five-hour time difference between England and the East Coast of the United States, coverage will begin bright and early for American viewers (or dark and late for those on the West Coast). Combining the broadcasts on Peacock, Golf Channel and NBC, viewers will be treated to nearly 50 hours of live championship coverage, from the opening tee shots each day to the final putts.
In addition to “traditional” tournament action, featured group and hole coverage during the four competition days will boost the overall number of hours of golf to more than 150.
Unique this year is that most of NBC's broadcaster team—including the signature announcing duo of Dan Hicks and Paul Azinger—and the production crew will be working remotely in NBC Sports International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.
Below is the listing of the live TV schedule and the schedule for alternative coverage being offered through various online streaming services.
