Bridgestone e12 Series golf balls: The latest iteration of Bridgestone's e12 family of golf balls consists of three models: HiLaunch, Straight and Speed. The designs are targeted at three specific types of players based off data gleaned by the four-million-plus ball fittings conducted by the company. All of the balls come with the Mindset marking that was developed in conjunction with Jason Day and his mental coach. Mindset is designed to improve pre-shot routine. $35 per dozen. Available Feb. 14.
Bridgestone e6 Series golf balls: For close to 20 years Bridgestone’s e6 ball has served as the bellwether of the e-series family of golf balls, promising a straighter flight and coming at a more palatable price point. The original was a three-piece construction, but six years ago the company went to a two-piece model with a softer core. It continues down that path with its latest iteration of the ball, the e6 Soft, with a softer core and cover designed to enhance the distance and straightness characteristics of the existing model with a softer feel. In stores on Feb. 14, the new Bridgestone e6 will be offered in white and optic yellow. $24 per dozen.
Bridgestone Electron ball for juniors: Bridgestone launches the Electron, a new low-compression ball targeting junior golfers starting to develop an appreciation for the game. The Electron is designed with soft feel and higher flight. Launched in partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods and the First Tee, each ball features a sidestamp with one of the words reflecting the First Tee’s core values. $22. Available now exclusively at Dick’s and Golf Galaxy.
Bridgestone e12 Splash ball: Bridgestone’s e12 lineup of low-compression ionomer-covered balls designed to improve average golfers full-swing shots (both off the tee and into the greens) expands to include the new e12 Splash aimed at improving another trouble area: wet conditions. The e12 Splash employs a TK coating that’s hydrophobic so it repels water, as well as mud and other debris for a more efficient aerodynamic flight. The end result is more consistent performance in wet, dewy and even rainy conditions. $35 (dozen), available Oct. 10.
